I totally believe in the healing power of laughter and smiling. Webster describes these as, to feel or suggest joyousness, appear bright; to be amused or an indication of amusement; to take on a facial expression showing pleasure, amusement, affection friendliness etc, and much more.

Here are few little sayings, adages, quotes that I hope brings a smile to your face and some laughter to your heart.

I don’t like to think before I speak. I like to be just as surprised as everyone else at what comes out of my mouth. (Now that one has me wrote all over it)

An aged farmer and his wife were leaning against the edge of their pig pen when the old woman wistfully recalled that next week would mark their golden wedding anniversary.
Let’s have a party”, she suggested, “Let’s kill a pig”. The farmer scratched hid grizzled head, “Gee”, he finally answered, “I don’t see why the pig should take the blame for something that happened 50 years ago”. (I had to add that one.)

Friends… Today has been another good day that God has blessed us with! Life is a gift, so enjoy today and be thankful.
